Jerome has navigated diverse waters throughout his sailing career, from the Caribbean to the West Mediterranean as well as the Adriatic. Beginning his career as a deckhand aboard 206ft KOLAHA, he was promoted to First Mate aboard the 175ft DRUMBEAT, assisting the owner in the Eastern Pacific. He then became captain aboard several sail and motor vessels across the summer and winter charter season, including the Lagoon 560 CAPERIC 4, DARWIN SOUND and the Azimut 62 WHITE PEARL. His wide-range experience thus showcases his adeptness in handling different vessels across various sea conditions. He has further worked as an engineer aboard the 100ft LUNAR MIST and 108 ft EUGENIA, highlighting his strong technical expertise. Guests can rest assured of being in safe hands aboard HOUBARA with Jerome at the helm as captain.
Job Description
Jerome is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew, and guests. He always ensures the safe and efficient operation of HOUBARA, including compliance with all procedures and regulations that keep our guests safe. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the catamaran’s policies. He further encourages teamwork, individual growth, and personal attention in delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks.

Clara embarked on her culinary journey as a part-time chef at the Iles des Palmes Hotel Eco while still completing her high school education. Motivated by her early experiences, she pursued formal training at the Seychelles’ Tourism Academy to acquire certification in culinary arts. Her dedication led her to refine her skills at the Constance Ephelia Resort and Spa, where she prepared both cold and hot dishes. In 2019, she joined Rêve2Mer as the head chef, overseeing culinary operations while also contributing as a capable deckhand.
Job Description
As a stewardess, Clara is responsible for organisation, management, and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate record of all service items and supplies and ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to all guest trips. As a chef, Clara is further responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter. With a deft touch and creative flair, she crafts meals that can be likened to the finest dining experiences. From haute cuisine to international treats, her artful skill in the kitchen knows no bounds.

With a deep connection to the sea, Asher brings his Seychellois heritage and passion for sailing to his role as a deckhand. Having joined the crew of Rêve2Mer in 2021, Asher has quickly become an integral part of the team, seamlessly blending his love for the ocean with his work ethic. His sailing experience extends beyond his time aboard Rêve2Mer. Growing up surrounded by the stunning waters of the Seychelles, he developed an innate understanding of the sea from a young age. This background, combined with his hands-on experience as a sailor, allows him to navigate diverse waters with confidence and skill.
Job Description
Asher has the expertise required to stand in for the captain in his absence, acting in an important role for deckhand duties. He assists the captain during navigation and participates in all on-deck operations, respecting guests’ activities. He has extensive knowledge of the maintenance of sailing yachts and is responsible for the running of deck equipment. He further assists with various tasks onboard, ensuring the smooth operation of the vessel and the comfort of its guests. From maintaining the cleanliness of the deck to assisting with docking manoeuvres, Asher's attention to detail and strong work ethic contribute to the success of charters aboard Rêve2Mer.
