Bio

Sofia was born in 1997 and from a young age she has always found herself around chefs and kitchens. Her mother introduced her to the kitchen and she fell in love with it instantaneously. She has a very energetic personality which reflects in her passions and hobbies; cooking travelling and learning about different cultures. Sofia has been working in the hospitality sector since 2018 and most recently was working on a private island in Greece as the head of housekeeping whereby she was responsible for the wellbeing of the guests (ranging from 6 to 20) during their stay on the island, and as assistant Chef. Prior to that she was the restaurant manager at the Gustatio Restaurant in the Netherlands (Michelin guide) and head waitress at other establishments in Italy.

Sofia has her STCW certificates which include those in Fire Prevention/Fighting, First Aid and Personal Safety & Responsibility, to name a few. Sofia enjoys challenges and takes pride in providing excellent service to guests onboard for an exclusive and unforgettable yacht charter. During her free-time she enjoys any kind of outdoor sports activity such as biking, hiking, skating, waterskiing, kayaking etc. Sofia is pleased to have joined the crew of M/y ATRATO and is a great addition to the team.

JNR was born in the Philippines. Knowing he wanted to pursue a career at sea he decided to undergo the necessary qualifications and training to join the industry as a deckhand. He currently works as an Ordenak seaman deckman with 4 years experience sailing around the Greek islands. He has keen attention to detail, taking care of the yacht’s everyday maintenance.

JNR will be found keeping the exterior of the yacht in perfect condition. In his free-time he likes to get on the water as much as possible, sail different types of boats, spear fishing and driving cars.
