Brief History :
Captain Paul has been working within the marine environment for many years starting out in his younger days as a sea cadet based in Chatham UK, having had various roles on cargo vessels, ferry’s and even hovercrafts, he is an accomplished yachtsman with approximately 25,000 seagoing miles worldwide. Captain Paul has excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team. He is a patient individual willing to pass on his knowledge and experiences in the form of training. He also has extensive experience in both European and SE Asian waters and has become accustomed to the many cultures throughout his travels.

Brief History :
Alastair started off working at sea on cargo ships to obtain his Engineering officer of the watch qualification which was completed in 2011. In 2012 he joined the offshore sector working on platform supply, anchor handling/tow support and multi-purpose vessels specialising in Dynamic Positioning, area of work was in the YK’s North Sea. In 2018 he moved back to Thailand to be closer to family and started an interest in moving into the yachting sector. Since then he has worked as a 2nd Engineer on a 60m yacht based in Phuket and as Chief on two different 40 meter yachts including Asia poseidon. Ali is diligent, meticulous and an asset to the Asia Poseidon team.

Brief History:
After leaving school Jacky went straight into the electronics industry and became a refrigeration engineer then onto more complex air conditioning systems within the 5 star hotel sector throughout Thailand. His interest in boats then saw him start as an air conditioning engineer on superyachts. Since then he has learnt more technical aspects, other than a/c, on large yachts. He is an all round problem solver especially on the more intricate electronics side which superyachts tend to have these days. He carries out routine preventative maintenance taks delegated to him by the chief with absolut diligence. He literally never stops working and is an absolutely fantastic team member that commands respect from his fellow crew members.

Brief History:
Chef Simon was raised in Perth, Western Australia, he has worked in the hospitality industry for 30 years. His very first job was barista in a food hall after which he then decided this is his passion and wanted to become a chef. Simon finished highschool then studied to obtain his culinary degree, he then worked his way up to sous/pastry chef and after Ten years in various fine restaurants including those with michelin star status. His love of the sea combined with his passion for food, superyachts was the direction he wanted to go. He has extensive experience on Superyachts and Megayachts throughout Europe, the Caribbean and South East Asia.

Brief History:
Since leaving university Bebe has remained within the 5 star service areas, starting out within the hotel industry, her love of travel led her into the prestigious yachting sector where she more than proves her skills as our Chief stewardess who pays particular attention to the finest detail. Bebe also has a passion for culinary skills and preparation to the highest standards.

Brief History:
Sorn started her career on cruise ships as a pastry chef after which carried her career to yachting to become a stewardess, although she still loves to cook her passion is to cater in all areas, her previous experience is vast and like the rest of the crew works to the highest of standards. She also is a trained massage therapist which is a blessing to ease guests muscles after a day blitzing all the onboard watertoys at their disposal.

Brief History:
After obtaining her bachelor degree Sugar became a Chinese language teacher, her love of travel brought her into the luxury yachting industry. Sugar also has high standards in the hospitality industry, with these attributes she has become an invaluable part of our team especially when we have Chinese speaking guests onboard.

Brief History:
Previously to Asia Poseiodon Natty was working on a 42m superyacht as a deckhand for 3 years and prior to this a 22m motor yacht for also 3 years. Natty is our head of watersports, an excellent Fliteboarder and JetSurfer, an experienced Scuba Diver and overall has had a lot of experience with luxury yacht charters. He also has silver service experience. Natty has a passion for the sea and wishes to work up to higher levels.

Brief History:
Since his early days Book has always been involved with boats and the sea, he has worked on various vessels from fishing boats to barges and since 2015 moved into the private yacht industry. A hard working individual that pays attention to detail that uses his own initiative and gets the job done. His love of water sports also makes him the perfect trainer for guests who wishes to make use of our many water toys.

Brief History:
After leaving university Nine went onto teaching Chinese language after which he became an interpreter within the hospitality industry which led him into the high end of yachting sector. His ability to both work on deck coupled with his service skills makes a perfect asset for Asia Poseidon, he is highly motivated and is currently studying further in his spare time to increase more levels of yachting certification.
