Stella, a Swan 82FD was designed by German Frers and is recognised around the world as one of the greatest performance cruising yachts ever conceived. She is an iconic yacht that offers exhilarating sailing whilst not compromising on comfort and luxury.
Stella, formerly Grey Goose, has been rigorously maintained by both her previous and now her current owner to keep pace with the latests advances in technology. In the winter of 2023/2024, Stella underwent a comprehensive refit in the Swan Service Centre in Badalona with upgrades that included: a new teak deck, repainting of the hull in navy
blue, full rig service, all new sails and all electronics replaced and upgraded. Stella now has a modern, contemporary feel, comparable to the very latest generation of Swan yachts.
Compared to her sister ships, Stella out performs them. A replacement rudder and keel brought down the centre of gravity, improved acceleration and pointing ability, balancing her perfectly in the water. In 2016 a replacement Hall Spars high modulus carbon fibre mast added strength and reduced the weight aloft, increasing the righting moment
and improving the overall performance.
Whilst many of the upgrades were made to improve the performance, most of them also serve to enhance the cruising experience by reducing pitching, better acceleration and easier handling.

Richard grew up sailing with his family on the West Coast of Scotland. As a holder of a Commercially Endorsed Yacht Master Ocean license, Richard and been captain on various Maxi Yachts over the past 10 years and can be described as an outgoing, but steady handed and resourceful seaman with a strong technical- and mechanical skillset. Apart from being a professional Yachtsman, Richard loves to surf in his spare time.

Zuzana Zigmundova

Zuzana has been a private chef onboard yachts for over 13 years and has sailed in the Caribbean, Pacific, Mediterranean, US East coast and South America. Her style of cooking has been inspired from all the various destinations she has sailed. Whilst being adaptive and accommodating to any dietary needs guests might have, Zuzana loves to use healthy sustainable local produce whenever this is possible. Zuzana is passionate about photography and publishes her own food blog.

Beatrice Williams
Captain
Beatrice’s sailing career started in dinghies and progressed to sail training ships and luxury yachts. A true sailor at heart, she taught crew, young and old to sail and compete in multiple Tall Ships races, latterly as the First Mate of an 111 year old pilot cutter.
Gaining her Yachtmaster at the age of 19, and with an Atlantic and multiple North Sea crossings under her belt Beatrice is a confident sailor in all types of weather. She brings a sense of fun, adventure and a cheery smile to everything she does on board. When she’s not on the water Beatrice is a keen field hockey player, fitness enthusiast and traveller.
